Our Classes

Power Yoga 

We begin with sun salutations– designed to warm all muscle groups. Build strength and stamina with a flowing sequence of standing and balancing poses. Seated and relaxation poses follow for flexibility and muscle release. Class ends with a calming relaxation. This is a challenging workout for students with at least moderate fitness. The studio is heated to 80 degrees to soften muscles, promote joint flexibility and stimulate a cleansing sweat. Bring water, towel.

Vinyasa Yoga 

Release the day’s tensions with vinyasa yoga. Traditional poses are linked in a flowing sequence and coordinated with the breath. Standing poses increase strength / stamina; bending and twisting poses improve flexibility; balancing poses create focus. Meditative music creates a serene atmosphere in which to integrate mind, body and spirit.

Hatha Yoga for Everybody 

Yoga can increase self awareness and self acceptance! Simple cues help you bring non- judgmental awareness to yourself and your practice. Class includes instruction in breathwork, spinal warm-ups, standing postures, mindful reflection and relaxation. For students of every size and shape. Beginners welcome!

Gentle Beginner’s Yoga 

Designed for first timers and students who wish to practice using a chair for support. Whether seated or standing, students receive step by step instruction on the fundamental poses. Individual attention is available, and students will learn to use yoga props—strap, blanket, block and chair– to enhance their practices. As in all our classes, expect to increase strength, balance and flexibility, cultivate breath awareness, and experience relaxation and wellbeing.

Pre/Post Natal Yoga

Strengthen muscles used in the birthing process; increase awareness and connection to the breath and increase flexibility / overall muscle tone. Join with mothers and mothers-to-be in a supportive, educational environment. Previous yoga experience not required.
